NOT CONFIRMED, and the current 'Yes' grade is not supported by anything found. Only secondary sources were located (EY Armenia law alert, Armenian law firms), and they describe permanent residence status as conditional rather than time-served: close relatives in Armenia, or business activity plus temporary residence for three of the previous five years, or an investment. A remote worker with no Armenian family and no local business does not obviously meet any of them. The same sources report January 2026 amendments, in force 1 November 2026, abolishing the separate special residence status. The RA Law on Foreigners itself was not reached, so under the data rules this stays low and the pathway grade needs a primary-source decision before it is trusted.
