Georgia's official legislative gazette (matsne.gov.ge), consolidated Law on the Legal Status of Aliens and Stateless Persons, Art. 15(g) (current text per amendment Law No. 670 of 12 June 2025), grants a permanent living permit after 10 consecutive years on a temporary residence permit, excluding only periods for study, medical treatment, or diplomatic/equivalent-mission work. The 365-day visa-free entry is not a residence permit at all, so it earns zero credit; a nomad must first obtain an ordinary residence permit (e.g. the work/entrepreneur permit under Art. 15(a), commonly marketed as an 'IT' or 'entrepreneur' route) which is not on the exclusion list, so its years count.
