The Government of Aruba's page on indefinite residence permits states 10 years of continuous legal residence ('legaal ingezetene') is required under the Landsverordening Toelating en Uitzetting; the exact LTU article number could not be confirmed because the ordinance PDF (dimasaruba.aw) would not parse as text.

    Aruba's own FAQ on the page this row cites answers the question directly: “No, since the maximum of 90 days is permissible for U.S. Nationals with a valid passport, you will not need any governmental documentation.” There is no permit to apply for, so the only thing filed is the ED card every arrival completes. Recorded this way rather than left empty because “there is nothing to apply for” is the answer a reader needs, and no guide gives it.
