Separately, gov.ms's Citizenship & Residence Information page describes Permanent Residence as governed by the Immigration (Permanent Residence Permits) Regulations 2005 (5- and 8-year 'ordinarily resident' tracks under the Immigration Act Cap. 13.01, read from the gov.ms-hosted Act PDF) requiring gainful employment, savings/property and checks — a wholly separate process that never mentions the Remote Work Stamp.
