Legal basis: Law 144/2025, in force from 20 September 2025, which introduced digital nomad status into Moldovan migration law; administered by the Bureau of Migration and Asylum under the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Graded low, and the reason is not doubt about whether the scheme exists - Fragomen and Erickson Immigration Group both report it and agree on the duration and who qualifies - but that the figure itself could not be read from an official source. bma.gov.md and mai.gov.md both refused the connection from the auditing machine and legis.md returned 403, so the 3x multiplier and the MDL 52,200 come from consistent secondary legal commentary rather than from the law or the Bureau's own page. Re-audit when those hosts are reachable.
