gov.bm's official WFB FAQ (forms.gov.bm/wfb/faq) confirms closure effective 28 Feb 2025, naming 'Permission to Reside on an Annual Basis' as the designated alternative. Bermuda Immigration and Protection Act 1956, as amended (ss.31A/31B/31ZA/31ZB per 2024-2025 Official Gazette notices), sets PRC routes at 20 years ordinarily resident (general route) or 10 years under the 'job-maker' economic route. Secondary legal commentary (Appleby, Fragomen) states WFB 'was never a long-term route by design,' but the Act's own exclusionary text was not independently read this session.
