    1. e-Albania, service 15146 ↗Apply for the residence / unique permit. This is the step that comes first: no visa application can be made until AKPA has approved it.
    2. e-visa.al ↗Apply for the Type D visa once AKPA's approval email arrives, if your nationality needs a visa to enter at all.

    The Ministry of Interior page this row cites describes the permit but does not take the application. The sequence is set out in the notice Albanian missions issue to applicants: e-Albania service 15146 first, then e-visa.al after AKPA approves. Both portals are government-run - e-Albania by AKSHI (National Agency for Information Society), e-visa.al by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Recorded because a search for 'Albania e-visa' returns at least five commercial lookalikes above the real one.
  4. Pay the filing fee. Set by your nationality, not by the visa. The published schedule lists 77 nationalities with a Type D fee, running EUR 10 to EUR 100 - EUR 80 is the most common - and names, for each, the Albanian mission where the application may be filed.
